It is the policy of the Fannys that personal information, such as your name, personal postal and email address, or personal telephone number is private and confidential. Because your privacy is important to us, Fannys maintains privacy policies to protect your personal information.

The Information We Collect:


(1) Site Activity Data
Each time a visitor comes to this website, our web server collects and logs certain information. These access logs are kept for a reasonable period of time. These logs include, but are not restricted to your machine's TCP/IP address, your username (if applicable), date, time and files accessed. These logs also contain information about 'referrer' information if you clicked on an external link to the Fannys webpage. These logs are used solely for performance, site administration and security reviews. They are not sold or shared in any way to third party organizations.
(2) Cookies
Portions of Fannys website may use cookies only for security and authentication purposes. This information is used solely to maintain your computer's session to the site server. This information is not shared or sold to third party organizations for any purpose.
(3) Personal Information
Personal information, such as your name, personal postal and email address, or personal telephone number is collected only when you voluntarily provide it. Such information is received when you send an email through the site or make some other specific contact, such as using the contact form. The personal information you provide to the association is forwarded only to the person or department equipped to handle your request and is used only to respond to your inquiry. Personal information will not be shared in any other way. When you provide details on pages such as the doorlist and competition pages your details may be added to our SMS database or our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at anytime from the SMS messages by sending the word "stop" to 0411 fannys (0411 326 697) and you may unsubscribe from the Newsletter using the unsubscribe link provided within the newsletter.

Within the club

Photos:

You may have your photo taken within the club, in doing so you give consent that your photo may be uploaded to fannys.com.au, myspace.com or facebook.com and may also be used for marketing purposes such as flyers or newsletters. If you do not agree to this please let our staff member who is taking the photo know and exclude yourself from the photograph.

ID Scanner privacy policy

Data collection:
Id's are scanned at the club entrance for security purposes to assist in identification of individuals if an incident occurs within or around the club.

Data disclosure:
We do not collect, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than those identified above, except with your consent or as required by law.

Data storage and retention:
Scanned data is stored directly into a database on a dedicated security computer. The database is password protected with only management and head security having access to it. At the end of each week the data is burnt to a CD ROM and stored securely in a safe for a maximum storage period of 6 months.

Data disposal:
When the data has reached its maximum storage period of 6 months the cds are destroyed by a cd shredder to remove all possible chances of data being able to be recovered.

Policy Revisions

Any changes to the association's privacy policy will be promptly communicated on this website. Policy changes will not alter how we handle previously submitted personal information.
